Parkland Refinery
Headlands Environmental is in the process of managing and disposing of approximately 70,000 metric tonnes of impacted soil. This project is ongoing.
This refinery has been part of the Burnaby Community since 1935. Acquired by Parkland in 2017. The Burnaby Refinery is one of Canada’s last remaining West Coast refineries. This refinery provides 1/3 of British Columbia’s fuel, which supplies BC’s retail and commercial network.
Parkland is an international fuel distributor and retailer with operations in 25 countries. Their integrated business includes retail, commercial and refining. With over 4,000 global retail and commercial locations through their family of brands, Parkland provides over one million customers with fuels, convenience items and quality foods each and every day. Parkland is a growth company. From a single retail location in rural Alberta, Parkland has expanded across Canada, the United States and the Caribbean region. The Parkland refinery in British Columbia provides one third of the province’s fuel and supplies their entire BC retail and commercial network.
