Mission KidSport brings such an important opportunity to kids in the community, and it was so special to be part of an event supporting that mission yesterday at Mission Golf and country.

@averygolfs came out to support her community and take on the players in the Beat the Pro challenge on the Par 3.

We’re proud to see her giving back and helping support sport opportunities for kids right here in Mission just coming off her win at the JPT U19 WAGR-ranked BC Championship! What a great way to end the week!

What a weekend for @averygolfs !

At just 13 years old, Avery battled back from 5 strokes behind heading into the final round at the JPT U19 WAGR-ranked BC Championship. She saved her best for last, firing an impressive 4-under 68 on Day 3 to capture the championship against a strong field.

Over three days, Avery finished at +3, playing the course from 6,000 yards. It was an incredible performance overall and a huge milestone in her young golf career.

With the win, Avery earns World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) status and has also qualified for the NXXT Faldo North American Championship.

We’re incredibly proud to support Avery as she continues to compete, grow, and make her mark in the game.

Congratulations, Avery!

This fall, Headlands Environmental is bringing proven soil steaming technology to our Chilliwack facility, expanding the options available for treating, recovering and reusing contaminated soils in BC.

As a chemical-free treatment solution, soil steaming can effectively treat soils impacted by invasive plant species, including Japanese Knotweed, while supporting our broader focus on keeping more soil and valuable resources in productive use.

Our partners at SoilSteam International have been instrumental in bringing this technology to North America. Hear from their team about the technology, the opportunity it represents, and what our collaboration could mean for the future of soil remediation.

Two months ago today, we officially celebrated the grand opening of our soil washing facility.

Looking back on June 30th, we’re reminded of what a significant milestone that day was for Headlands Environmental and our partners. Together, we celebrated not only the opening of the facility, but the years of planning, hard work and collaboration it took to bring it to fruition.

Seeing everyone come together made the day especially meaningful and gave us an opportunity to reflect on just how much was accomplished leading up to that moment.

Two months later, we’re just as proud of how far we’ve come and even more excited about what’s ahead as we continue advancing soil management and resource recovery here in British Columbia.

Our new Hydro Vac plant addition is taking shape.

Following its delivery earlier this summer, construction and integration are now well underway. Once operational, the Hydro Vac plant will allow trucks to unload material directly into our soil washing system, creating a more efficient disposal process while maximizing aggregate recovery and recycling.

More progress to come as we get closer to launch.

Our team recently met up with @averygolfs at Mission Golf & Country Club for a lesson and a little friendly competition. A great day on the course led by Avery!

This look back is even more special as it was before Avery headed to the NBIII Western Canadian Championship at Dakota Dunes, where she won the 12–13 Girls Division title. This big win has qualified for the NBIII Nationals in Louisiana this November!

We’re proud to support you, Avery. Congratulations and thanks for a fun day!
